This four year PhD-research project is about how to design wearable senses through textile electronics. The vehicle for this research is a project aimed at developing the first truly intelligent sports garment that uses both body sensing and actuating intelligence. Furthermore, this project focuses on how design can bridge two traditionally separate disciplines: textiles and electronics.
