Visual Basic for Applications is the choice, if you want to integrate phidgets in an existing application or website. Visual Basic is not supported at the department of industrial design. Only use VBA in emergency situations.
Flash movies can also be embedded in html and offer much more opportunities for implementing intelligence in a scene.

In order to use phidgets in VBA you have to install the following software:
In order to use the components of the phidget vba library, the Phidget WebService Manager must be running. Click on the Phidget WebService icon in the taskbar to show the control panel:
In the control panel you can start the service manually by pressing the start button or select to start the manager automatically when starting windows (recommended). Port and password fields can be left unchanged.
