Internationalization

Internationalization

The realization of intelligent products, systems and services needs an international context. Industrial Design has a strong international network involving partners from USA, Asia, and Australia. Design is very much culturally interwoven and is dependant on specific cultural issues. The production of new devices depends on services and industries spread all over the world. Highly advanced technological products require a sound collaboration between various countries. Therefore the department initiates and maintains many international contacts with both institutes and (multinational) industries, resulting in exchanges of students and staff and the realization of international research programs.
