A student takes a project for one semester. In the first block, M1.1, the project is directed towards the specialisation of designer and is executed in the context of one of the Themes. In the second block, M1.2, the project is directed towards the specialisation of design researcher. This project will have a direct link to the research that is conducted in one of the four capacity groups of our department.

The student can either define a project proposal of his/her own, or choose a project from a project portfolio. Like in the bachelor, a student can work on more competencies in a project. Also, it is possible to team up in small groups and work on one project together, of course each student with separate learning goals and deliverables.
